The Car Party!!

Hey Everyone,

As promised...(sorta, my computer was acting up this weekend so I couldn't post as soon as I would have liked to!) Here are some pictures from the Car Party! My very first one, it was soo exciting and inspiring! Cristina and I showed up around 7pm, and enjoyed some champagne and browsing for our own favourites to look forward to in the near future! Then got a chance to listen to the Amazing Camilla Scott tell us about her Arbonne story and her Discover Arbonne presentation!

Congratulations to Kara who received her brand new ML350 Mercedes Benz courtesy of Arbonne!

This is a dream I am chasing...I will keep you all updated on my progress! check out my favourite...for now...

Hey Everyone!!

So I am really bummed beacuse I just wrote this wonderful post @ 5:30am and for some FUNNY reason it did not save... However I will try my best to remember what I wrote and here it goes...

I'm Back again!! I know....I have been MIA, the past few weeks have been the weeks from H-E-Double Hockey Sticks! I know, that makes me sounds like a 10 year old kid! Where have I been!?

Hey Everyone!!

I am sad to say I am pretty ashamed at my lack of postings for all you wonderful readers! Life has been...well to say the least, exhausting! (I can't stop thinking about how awesome it will be when I have more time in a few months!!)

Work has been non-stop, I have started up these two AMAZING business ventures, with some pretty AMAZING people! (I am hoping their wonderfulness rubs off on me!)

1st - I have started this wonderful on-line store on etsy.com called The Glitzy Heart with my extremely talented Mother-in-law! www.etsy.com/shop/TheGlitzyHeart  We have started small with a variety of Hot/Cold Therapy Rice Bags in loads of different patterns and colours! 3 sold already! How exciting! Next up if what many of you have been waiting for over the past month! Beautiful handmade throw pillows! I cannot wait till they are done and can be posted for you all to see! I have also been working on a few small home decor items, Glitzy Frames and Framed mirrors, Beautiful Leather Flowers to accessorize your purse, shoes, headbands, cardigans or belts! The best part is they attach to almost anything you want with the clip on the back! Here are a few pictures!

2nd - I have decided to put my dreams in motion and started the Arbonne Advantage! Arbonne is an amazing Swiss Formulated Skin Care, Cosmetics and Health and Wellness company! www.arbonne.ca  I am embarrassed to say that I thought I was using things that weren't harming my body at all! Everyone knows how to read a nutrition label, but who can honestly say they can read AND understand a Skin Care or Cosmetics label!? Then I was introduced to Arbonne, a company that cares about what goes into our bodies through the skin and our mouths! Below is a video I encourage everyone to watch...It just breaks the surface on how ridiculous our laws and regulations for these products are! It makes me sad to think that the whole world is putting these toxins into their skin without any warning!

Starting to Accessorize!

Hello again, so its back to business!

Finally feeling better and a little more creative! Unfortunately not long after my last post I go the big bad FLU! (thank goodness that's over!) and it put me down and out for a few days. BUT I did somehow manage to feel good enough to Paint our entire bedroom myself! I am very excited to share the pictures, but you will have to wait a liiiiittle longer for those, a few more finishing touches before I take my bedroom paint 'After' Pictures!

This past week was Insanity at work, so I didn't get started on as much as I had hoped for with regards to my up and coming business! But I did get a chance to try out one of the felt flower accessories that will be featured in my online store on etsy.com! (Coming Jan 2012!) I took a quick picture for all of you to check it out and OF COURSE! IT'S PINK! I am hoping to get this beauty on a headband ASAP!

Sneak Peek @ the New Year!

WOW! What a wonderfully busy time of the year!!

We are so blessed to have so much family surrounding us! The last 4 days have been fun and family filled! I must say though, I am glad to be home and sleep in our own (newly mattress topped) bed! :)

The new year is coming and I am so excited for all of the new challenges ahead!

This coming year my Mother-In-Law and myself are hoping to start our own business, as well as hopefully (fingers crossed) throwing myself in the Entrepreneurship & Small Business part-time program @ Conestoga College.  Hoping to include a few favourite on an online store on etsy.com (Store coming in Jan-Feb 2012).
